Organic Chemist | Oregon Department of Environmental Quality | Hillsboro, OR 9/25/09 This position is designed as an entry-level position into the analytical laboratory. Most of the analyses are performed under the guidance of a senior Chemist. The person in this position will perform analyses on a variety of environmental samples, using classical wet bench techniques. This position may occasionally assist a senior chemist in the sample preparation activities on liquid, solid, and semi-solid samples prior to instrumental analysis.
